The most expensive home reported sold this week was a 3905 SF 4 bedroom 4 bath home on 1.11 acres in Anderson. It sold for $377,546 and appears to already be under contract when entered into the MLS.

Brand new never lived and under construction so that should help to explain why the home was already under contract when entered into the MLS. Some builders will only enter a home into the MLS after it has gone under contract. This screws up the Days on Market statistics for new homes and makes it appear that new construction is selling much faster than it really is.
All brick 2 story home with 2 story entrance. Master suite has sitting area with fireplace and walk in closet. Screened porch. Attached 2 car garage. Granite counter tops.
Sold Deal of the Week in Anderson County
In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this week was a new/never lived in 3048 SF 4 bedroom 2.5 bath home on less than 0.25 acres in Piedmont. It sold for $185,000 after being on the market for 49 days. The seller paid $2500 of the buyer’s closing costs. Originally hit the market at $196,990.

Great price for a new home in the Wren school district. 2 story foyer, formal living and dining room. Kitchen has granite counter tops, island with sink, walk in pantry. 9 foot ceilings and archways. 2 car attached garage. The only downside I see is the master suite is upstairs.
